Joe Mo is the second artist to have joined the humble BB Comics (Pty.) Ltd stable. Gushwell F. Brooks, Creator of BB Comics' second title, "Saga of Sergeant South Africa", saw Joe's work on Instagram.
Gushwell loved his style, very butch characters, with bulging muscles and we just knew that he would be perfect for our second concept and title being Sergeant South Africa.
Gushwell searched high and low for Joe, basically stalking him for about two weeks until a mutual friend and colleague, John Curtis, assisted me in tracking him down.
Now Joe has been to two Comic Con Africas with BB Comics (Pty.) Ltd. He comes form humble beginnings. He is not some young kid who has just been discovered, he has lived a tough life, opportunities have arrived later in his life and there is so much more we would like to do for him and his fellow artist, Oscar Mashiane.
