BB Comics was established in January 2018. It is a 100% Black owned company, which uses the comic medium as a means to leverage off of its co-founder’s creativity as a writer and illustrator - Gushwell F. Brooks. The business is managed by co-founder and shareholder - Mrs Regina Brooks (Blumears) - who has immense management experience and is the organisational and business force behind the creativity...

The Adventures of Ntate Molefe
BB Comics (Pty) Ltd, have brought “The Adventures of Ntate Molefe”, to comic book format, officially introducing the comic to the world at Comic Con Africa in September 2018. Read more about our experience here!
In October 2014, Gushwell F. Brooks took the leap of faith and presented his creation “The Adventures of Ntate Molefe” to the most widely read publication in South Africa, “The Daily Sun”. On the 2nd May 2017, he resumed the series, this time as a fortnightly comic series up until September 2019. Up until its final strip, the cartoon proved to be a popular and a hit with its reading audience.
The Saga of Sergeant South Africa
Following the impact of Ntate Molefe through great story telling in the form of comic strips, BB Comics (Pty) Ltd, followed with the introduction of Sergeant South Africa.
Sergeant South Africa was introduced via Ntate Molefe's comic strip on the 12th June 2017, and was introduced at in comic book form Comic Con Africa 2019, with the "Saga of Sergeant South Africa Issue #001.
This title is now available online as an e comic book.
