A South African, Woman Super-heroine - About Time!!!

With August being Women's Month, and the 9th of August being Women's Day, it is the best time to introduce a strong super-heroine.

She is the Telepath Matriarch and arguably the most powerful entity we have introduced into Ntate Molefe's universe. She uses brains instead of brawn and rather than using violence like Ntate, Sergeant South Africa or the Lynx, she rather persuades others with her mind.

She fights for women's rights, tackling equality in the workplace, healthcare for women, access to quality education, she fights gender based violence and many other issues faced by women through the power of telepathy and telekinesis.

She is powerful, with none of the heroes introduced thus far being able to match her powers, but she is compassionate.

Women and girls need role models and champions of their own, particularly here in South Africa, where we have recently seen increased reports of violence against women.

So be sure to get your copy of the Daily Sun next week, starting on Monday, as three issues of "The Adventures of Ntate Molefe" deals with women's issues in the lead up to Women's Day.

So much more of her story needs to be told, so keep your eye firmly on this site and our social media to see how her story unfolds.
